FAQ
Draw one Mission, one Work card, and one Conditioning card. Choose Ranch Hand, Foreman, or Landowner and use that level consistently. You may add one optional Extra before starting.
No. Barrel & Brawn is deliberately simple: complete the three required cards. The Extra card remains optional.
The deck uses practical training tools and odd objects such as a barrel or keg-shaped load, buckets, weighted sacks, pavers, kettlebells, ropes, sleds, and sturdy platforms. Individual cards specify the movement and can be scaled or substituted safely.
No. The deck is designed with yards, hills, driveways, garages, and open ground in mind, but many cards can be used in a gym or other safe training space.
The three levels provide different workloads, but every user should start light, learn proper technique, inspect equipment and routes, and stop when control deteriorates. Consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
The app stores the active workout, preferences, and workout history locally on the device. A private backup can be exported and restored when changing phones.
It can generate complete workouts on its own, but the physical deck offers the tactile draw-and-train experience. Both use the same cards and simple workout structure.
